Last year I made a concept sketch for icanbeCreative design, a more clean and light colored design in Photoshop. It didn't make it as primary design, but we love it! We wanted to code it anyway, because we are considering making it into a free WordPress theme, we asked our friends from CodeMyConcept to help us out.

Programming doesn't come easy to all web designers, so it’s always good to have a reliable and fast PSD to HTML conversion service. What can you expect from such coding companies? I had the pleasure of working with guys at CodeMyConcept recently, and in this review I will describe my experience I had with them.

Who are these guys?

CodeMyConcept is a PSD to HTML conversion company, that provides neat 100% hand coded XHTML/CSS markup, as well as CMS implementation such as WordPress, Drupal, Magento etc.

They also offer PSD to email newsletter conversion services, that provide compatibility with different email clients such as: MS Outlook 2003+, Outlook Express, Apple Mail, etc., as well as MailChimp and Campaign Monitor. Their turnaround time for PSD to HTML slicing is 2-3 business days, but rush delivery is also available.

Getting Started – Ordering

I had a PSD file, which I needed to convert into a XHTML/CSS markup, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to save myself some time and try CodeMyConcept.

They offer one PSD to HTML package, which includes Load Speed Optimization by default. Their order form includes lots of Layout, Compatibility, Jquery, and Advanced Markup options, so you will always end up with something that meets your requirements.

What I needed was some text shadow effects and pagination blocks created with CSS3, Font-face custom fonts and some rollover effects for navigation.

Here is the design file I submitted:

The Process

In a couple of hours after placing my order, I was contacted with a request to clarify some project specifications. Their ticket system was a great way to discuss all the details. If you need some urgent support you can get in touch with them via Live Chat or phone.

The Results

I was very pleased with the results! Check out the HTML and CSS code that was delivered:

Here's the HTML:

Everything is clean and well structured.

Now the CSS:

Do I recommend them? Hell yes! If you need any sort of help with converting your designs into a web code, CodeMyConcept is worth considering. For a very reasonable price you save loads of time and efforts.
