The Setup VS. The Shot - Photography Tricks

Photographers share their before/after “The Setup and The Shot”, contrasting side by side images of photo setups and the finished photo, so we can get an idea of how much creativity and skill it takes to make a single beautiful image.

From elaborate compositions to glossy selfies, some of the shots look so good they would fit right on the cover of a fashion magazine. But it turns out, we don’t see much of the real deal that’s going on behind every photoshoot, and there’s a whole lot to uncover. Looks can be deceiving, so never judge a photo before seeing its backstage setup.
