Armenian studio Backbone Branding were commissioned by Seafood restaurant Fish Club to create this clever packaging design concept for their exclusive in-house wine.

The concept and branding were designed to show the passion and deep dialogue of drinking wine while eating fish, with the core design element focused on ‘fish scale’. The lovely packaging features stylized depictions of a fish silhouette with scale patterns. The use of different bottle sizes, metallic paper selection and intentionally grainy print gives it whimsical vibe to the wine-devouring fish a sense of intrigue and mystique.

Backbone Branding had designed this creative wine packaging for a seafood restaurant named Fish Club, which would be used as a perfect gift that will spark the brand name in the market and be served on special occasions. Also, the team was in charge of creating the brand identity and concept of the seafood specialized restaurant.

Three types of wines were picked (white, red and rose) and matched carefully with unique fish types.

Mirror metallic papers was used for printing, then wrapped on the bottle and twisted gently by hand. The bold dark colors and the interactive element of pulling the fish packaging away from the bottle grant a memorable moment and also a centerpiece to spark lively conversation.

The main idea of this product was to show the passion and deep dialogue of drinking wine with fish.
